Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45
A one owner yacht sold new by Performance Boating and equipped for an Australian circumnavigation which it successfully completed in its early years.
This is a highly equipped yacht complete with diesel generator, air-conditioning, water-maker, Inmarsat, bow-thruster and electric halyard winch. It has a custom Radar pole that also combines the Sat’ Com C antenna and outboard crane.
The standing rigging is due for replacement as is some of the running rigging, but the fully-battened mainsail is in good shape and it has a new genoa. There is a mast mounted pole for poling out the headsail ideal for cruising our East coast.
The Sun Odyssey 45 is a highly regarded blue-water cruiser with a surprising turn of speed, a very roomy and comfortable cockpit, and this one sports the standard 3-cabin twin head layout (one electric), with all three cabins being generous. There is a long galley, saloon wrap-around dinette, a huge nav’ station come desk.
The 45 is a Philippe Briand design with timeless good looks and impeccable manners.
