Now reduced! This owners version 2-cabin yacht was sold new by PBS and delivered here in Sydney. it was optioned for extended cruising and has cruised SE Asia in recent years, and so is equipped with extended fuel and water tanks, large battery and solar capacity, inner furling storm jib, water-maker and more.

The 44DS is a performance cruising yacht that combines a more traditional stepped transom with a large and protected cockpit, ease of movement forward, a remarkably bright saloon, sensational owners cabin and generous guest cabin, both with ensuites.

This example has the in-mast furling mainsail and short-overlap headsail, so extremely easily handled, but with the additions of an assymetric spinnaker in a sock, and mast mounted pole for poling out the headsail, and storm jib that sets on an inner strong point set well back from the bow. The custom built-in additonal fuel and water tanks considerably extend the yachts range, with a portable watermaker as a backup. A bow-thruster, BBQ, tender  & outboard, AIS and Radar, and 700W of solar panels feeding into a 720A bank of AGM batteries means that there is never a shortage of power, and the full sinewave invertor means that 240v is on tap.

This is a well maintained yacht that is well sorted and very much ready to go cruising North this winter.
