Popular and competitive production cruiser-racer Hobart ready with factory carbon rudder and racing pack now with an even more competitive IRC rating of 1.074 for 2021. “Papillon” is a well-known racing yacht on the Sydney offshore scene and is a one-owner yacht since being the original importer demonstrator. It's in excellent condition and presents very well.
As you would expect having been last campaigned for the Hobart it is fully prepared and optimised, including a new Norths 3Di 3-reef main, #5 headsail and spinnaker stay-sail. This yacht has phenomenally high stability with a STIX of 46, so would lend itself very well to short-handed offshore racing.
The structure is infused vinyl-ester resin and PVC core and has been well tried and tested over multiple offshore races. “Papillon” has had many race highlights including 3rd in division in the Hobart, 2nd overall in the Sydney-Goldcoast, 3rd overall in the Bluewater Pointscore, and 2nd in division in the CYCA Audi Winter Series.
