The 27th edition of the worlds largest transatlantic rally, the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) began on Tuesday November 27th. The entire fleet set sail from Las Palmas, in the Canary Islands, for Saint Lucia in the Antilles.
Among the 226 sailboats of mixed categories were 15 Jeanneau yachts, from 39 to 57 feet, taking part in this unique adventure. Including novices and seasoned participants alike (one boat participated for the ninth time!), strong participation in the ARC by Jeanneau owners is one more excellent demonstration of the seafaring qualities of our sailboats.
This years event was sponsored by Jeanneau and to commemorate the occasion a special Jeanneau dinner was organised. Held before departure it was attended by 87 people and 10 different nationalities.
