Sydney harbour saw the Ocean Ball recently with over 300 people from the marine industry attending. The annual event is hosted by Ocean Media and as well as a way of bringing in the festive season, the event has a silent auction with all proceeds going to children’s charity Cure Our Kids.
The event also hosts a sail past with a range of sail and power yachts parading around Farm Cove in front of those attending the ball. This year saw the flagship of the Jeanneau fleet, the Jeanneau 57, on show. Even with the overcast evening the Jeanneau 57 stood out in the crowd drawing complimentary comments from those attending.
