The new Sun Fast 3600 “Yolo” won its 3rd event in a row with a big win at the Spring Series in La Trinite beating a highly competitive IRC fleet including the JPK10.80 and Archambault A35r in a series that spanned 5 weekends and 11 races. Considering this yacht is so new congratulations are in order for Luc Gellusseau and team!
The first one sold to Australia is due in a few months and will feature the longer IRC optimised bow-pole, wheel steering and the alloy rig option, but tiller steering and carbon rig can be chosen. This highly sophisticated new design stands out for having a very high stability, and with a chined hull and twin rudders will be a very forgiving yacht less reliant on crew weight.
