With 15 Jeanneau’s confirmed for participation in this years Commodore’s Cup regatta and a record fleet of 85 yachts entered this event is going to be even better than ever before. This year there is a dedicated non-spinnaker division for those wanting a more relaxed event, or those new to fun regatta’s, and this is a welcome change.
The majority of the fleet will be racing in the spinnaker division and we PBS will have prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the Jeanneau yachts calculated across the divisions, with the organizers then awarding Jeanneau trophies for the overall Commodore’s Cup event.
This event goes from strength to strength having the atmosphere of the fun-in-the-sun regattas up North in the winter, but being only a short sail away. It’s also a terrific sailing destination that is very welcoming, there is lots of affordable accommodation available, and offers a variety of courses that take competitors all around the bay and out around the nearby islands, depending on the weather.
Within the Jeanneau family PBS host an informal BBQ and drinks on the Tuesday night in the roof-top apartment of the D’Albora building where owners can share stories, catch up and where the prizes for that day are handed out. Always a lot of fun!
