PBS is proud to have been the naming sponsor of last weekend’s Sydney Yachts regatta which comprised the Sydney 38 National Championship and the Sydney 36 racing as a class. Hosted by Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club the fifteen Sydney 38’s raced three days and managed to get 10 races in despite difficult light wind conditions on the race course off Palm Beach. With 5 Victorian entries, four that brought their own boats up from Melbourne and Geelong, the competition was hot with lots of the close racing that the 38’s have become known for. Many of the entrants are PBS customers who bought their yachts new or second-hand from us.

PBS were key in the development of the Sydney 38, and also the Sydney 36CR, 39CR and 47CR. Along with Martin Thompson, then of Sydney Yachts, we were the selling agents for Sydney Yachts until the company was wound up in 2010. We currently have an excellent Sydney 38 for sale. See it at this link.
