Performance Boating Sales are proud to be able to sponsor the badge draw at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.
PBS is a great supporter of the club with a large number of their clients being members. As the NSW agent for the range of Jeanneau Yachts, PBS is able to offer not only a yacht to suit all tastes, but also a wealth of knowledge based on world cruising. This advice includes which yacht would suit you, how to set it up for the style of cruising you would like, and training on any aspect of sailing and maintenance.
PBS director Lee Condell sailed his own boat from Sydney to the UK during ’99/’00 covering over 26,000 miles. Prior to that he ran his own performance brokerage and project management business throughout Asia, and had previously managed the original Bashford factory (then Sydney Yachts) working with Ian Bashford to develop that companies export boat building business.
PBS is also well known for racing yachts. In racing they aim to assist you to get into the silverware at the end of the regatta. The team at PBS achieves this by sitting down with clients, clarifying their racing goals, and then sourcing the right boat and race package to achieve those goals.
Over the last 30 years PBS director Ron Jacobs has project managed winners in classes ranging from ocean racers though to 11 meter one designs. This success story isn’t exclusively about new boats as Performance Boating Sales also offers a brokerage list of top performing, second hand racing and cruiser/racing yachts to suit all types of budgets.
The new Jeanneau racing yacht, the Sun Fast 3600, recently premiered at the Sydney International Boat Show, has just entered the 70th Anniversary Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
This week the draw at the club is up to $3600!
