PBS currently has a superb variety of racing and cruiser/racing yachts available, from the 1987 Beneteau First 325 “Magic” to the 2018 Lombard 34 “Mistral” that is at the cutting edge of modern IRC cruiser/racers, and probably the best value in the Country would have to be the modified Inglis 47 “Dolce” which is virtually Hobart ready and at a price of just $139,000 is simply a bargain!
Racing yachts that can be raced at a high level with little crew is becoming more attractive all the time and we have a selection of such yachts, from the immaculate and fully updated Young 11 “Outsidedge”, to the Sun Fast 3200 “Solstice” and the Lombard 34 mentioned above.
For some inexpensive outright racing fun we have the Melges 20 “Onya” and Bull 9000 “Bull Winkle”, or for some genuine cruising comfort while still being competitive we have an exquisite First 40 “Status Quo”.
