Plans are well underway for this years PBS Jeanneau Rendezvous, returning to Darling Harbour, with participants notified of all the specifics of the event over recent weeks. With over 45 yachts currently entered its going to be a terrific weekend commencing with a briefing at the CYCA in Rushcutters Bay at 10am on the Saturday morning, participants from other locations having sailed to the harbour the previous day.
Sailing will commence at 11.30 with various divisions as per previous years, so let’s hope the wind Gods are good to us for a great days sailing.
The first bridge opening is scheduled for 3pm into Darling Harbour and after berthing we’ll have several hours to catch up and mingle on the dock before the evening function. This year the function will take place a short walk away at the rooftop of Pyrmont Bridge Hotel, which we will have exclusively to ourselves, with food, drinks and music, as well as our prize-giving and spot-prize draw.
