Just announced by Jeanneau for the 2019 model year is the next in the all new generation being the Sun Odyssey 410. This follows the same basic principles as the 440 and 490, but is a Marc Lombard design, the same designer as the hugely successful Sun Odyssey 349. The ground-breaking sloping side deck has been successfully incorporated into this design, and there are a lot of nice details around the cockpit space, and the option of three different cockpit tables, depending on owners’ requirements.
Expect superb stability and handling in a yacht that will simply chew up the miles! Lombard knows a thing or two about this style of modern hull form as he is at the forefront of racing yacht design in this arena. The 349 is an exceptional design and this new 40 footer has all the hallmarks of following suit!
Down below there are four layout options with a very clever saloon arrangement which offers great seating around the optional deluxe saloon table. All cabins have rectangular beds so that conventional bedding can be used, and all floors are on one level. There is the option of either one or two heads, and in lieu of a head forward a vanity unit and sink can be ordered.
All in all this is an exciting new design that has the best characteristics of both the 440 and hugely popular 349, while adding some new innovations as well! So an exceptional combination, and at a very competitive price point.
