Sydney 36

An exceptional yacht in every way! This Sydney 36 was built in 1995 and has been hugely successful throughout its life. In recent years it won its division in the Sydney-Gold Coast Race, and was ‘Yacht of the Regatta” that year at Hamo. A recent reconfiguration to using asymmetric spinnaker with a custom carbon bow pole has reduced the rating significantly, and because this Sydney 36 has an exceptionally light hull it has now resulted in an even more competitive yacht than ever before.

The extensive refit has also involved making the yacht easier to sail short-handed, and no expense has been spared to carry out all of the work to the highest standard. It has been fitted with a re-built Yanmar engine, the instruments have been updated to using a B&G H3000 Processor, all running rigging updated, and standing rigging is 2014. The interior was stripped and re-painted, all teak stripped and revarnished, new upholstery, new ports and hatches, new cooker and tap fittings, double removable bunks fitted in quarters, custom spray-dodger and boom-bag, as well as the carbon bow-sprit.

This yacht is truly in remarkable condition and presents like am almost new yacht, with the comprehensive sail inventory of over 20 sails, including a regatta suit all in 9/10 condition this yacht simply represents the best value-for-money available today, but the price is firm. Don’t miss out!
