Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42DS

An owner’s version with enormous full width aft cabin with full sitting up headroom. This 42DS was sold new by PBS and has been superbly maintained. Recently it’s had a World class Targa arch/davit system installed which supports four solar panels, and it has also had new standing and running rigging in 2019.

The 42DS with the 2-cabin layout and in-mast furling mainsail has been a highly popular model here in Australia combining ease of handling with a cockpit and interior layout typically seen on much bigger yachts. Combine this with the light bright interior and an astonishing owner’s cabin and it’s not hard to understand why they continue to be so popular.

The layout combines a generous guest cabin forward which also has an ensuite, a spacious saloon, large L-shaped galley and a proper forward facing nav’ station.

With a generous bank of AGM batteries, full sinewave invertor and the large solar capacity you can have all of those home luxuries while at anchor, such as the built-in microwave, or your own coffee machine, hairdryer, or other 240v appliances.

“Seaclusion” was antifouled, and engine serviced in September and comes complete with an alloy bottomed Highfield inflatable tender with four-stroke outboard. It’s very much ready to be enjoyed this coming season, and to take you on adventures far and wide in years to come.
