Grand Banks 42 Classic

A very well maintained example of these classic semi-displacement cruisers that are roomy, economical to run and very comfortable to spend time on. The layout has a master cabin aft with twin king singles and an ensuite with bath, while froward is a generous v-berth type double with ensuite. The galley features modern appliances such as Miele electric 4-burner cook-top and Waeco domestic style fridge, with abundant power available from the 2016 Onan 6kva gen-set, supplemented by solar.

The helm-station offers great visibility with side-door access to the safe walkaround side-decks, or take in the view by using the flybridge helm where guests can be entertained on an evening anchorage.

Mechanically the vessel features twin normally aspirated John Deere diesels on shaft drive. They have been superbly maintained and run beautifully with just 2,200 hours on them.

Much of the canvas has been replaced in recent years and there are full surround capping covers to protect the varnished teak that has received 10 coats of varnish to protect it and look superb.

The vessel comes complete with an Aquapro tender and Mercury outboard and was antifouled in June 2021. A June 2020 survey is available on request. Contact PBS now for further details.
