Jeanneau’s join cruise North:

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club on Pittwater hosts an active cruising program all year round with members enjoying both short and long cruises in Australian waters and beyond. Organised cruising activities range from short week-end trips within the Pittwater/Hawkesbury area through to major cruises to the Whitsundays. Typical offshore trips involve Sydney Harbour, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Port Stephens.
The major cruise that the club organises is the Coral Coast Cruise. The 2011 cruise is running over May-November 2011 and has yachts heading north towards isolated anchorages on tropical islands with white sands and crystal clear waters, where a long sleep-in, midday snorkel, an afternoon walk or whatever else you choose to do, will make up the program of the day.
Two Jeanneau’s are currently heading north on the cruise and by all reports the crews are enjoying every minute. Cloud Nine, a Sun fast 43, and Nirvana’s Kitchen, a new Sun Odyssey 45 Deck Saloon have just departed Lady Musgrave Island situated on the most southern end of the Barrier Reef where tales are already being told of the first legs of the trip.
Join Cloud Nine and Nirvana’s Kitchen on Skipr.net where you can track their progress and keep coming back to Jeanneau Australia for more stories of their cruise.
Other Jeanneau’s that have just departed for warmer waters are David Urry’s Jeanneau 53 “Largs Bay” & Mathew Barlow’s Jeanneau 49 “Saphira”
