Jeanneau upcoming events in NSW:

April is a particularly busy month for us this year, with a string of upcoming events;

  • Sail Port Stephens Commodore’s Cup – April 9th to 11th
  • Jeanneau Rendezvous (Sydney Harbour) – April 21st
  • Jeanneau Cup Series Race 3 – April 25th

First up is the popular Sail Port Stephens Commodore’s Cup on April 9th to 11th, within which we’ve had a Jeanneau division for the last few years. It looks like we’ll again have a strong Jeanneau contingent and will host a Jeanneau function on the Tuesday night on the roof-top of the D’Albora building. This is always a thoroughly enjoyable event and is eagerly anticipated by a growing band of sailors.

Then on Saturday April the 21st we will be hosting the Jeanneau Rendezvous on Sydney Harbour finishing up with overnighting in Darling Harbour. To all Jeanneau owners please note that we are finalising details for the evening event and will be sending out a full questionnaire covering all aspects of the weekend in the next few days seeking formal RSVP and confirmation of guest numbers and berthing requirements etc…

Next on Two-up Cup Anzac Day April 25 is the third race in our Jeanneau Cup series at MHYC, being the Anzac day Two-Up Cup race. You will find entry details at this link

And finally in April, over the weekend of April 29th to 30th is the Pittwater Sail Expo, which will be the Australian launch of the new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440. The 440 is the most awarded yacht of 2018 and the first of a whole new generation of cruising yachts. To-date it has been awarded European Yacht of the Year, Sails magazine ‘Best Boats’ 208 and Cruising World Yacht of the Year. So, we are very much looking forward to showing you over the first of these yachts to arrive here. For further details see here

Don’t forget that on the June long weekend on Sunday June 10th PBS will host the Worlds first dedicated event for Sun Odyssey 349‘s at Middle Harbour Yacht Club. This day will be a celebration of the popularity of this remarkable design and it’s success here in NSW and we look forward to having as many of the boats currently in NSW attend. More details to follow…
