Jeanneau Sun Fast yachts continue on their winning ways, both as fully crewed and short-handed IRC racers. However, the most noticeable recent result is the UK yacht “Game On” (Virgin Media Business) which finished the Sevenstar Round Britain and Ireland Race on Thursday 23rd Aug at 18:30:10, winning IRC Three and taking second place in the Two Handed division as well as fourth overall in a highly competitive fleet.
Ian Hoddle and Ollie Wyatt’s Sunfast 3600 completed the race in 11 days 6 hours 30 minutes 10 seconds and had a fantastic welcome on the dock in Cowes by family and friends. This is a highly demanding race covering the distance of three Fastnet races, but sailing several hundred miles north of mainland Scotland into the North Sea, before returning down the East coast and through the busy channel. A huge congratulations to them both!
