Ever thought of sailing for three days with a fleet of stunning Jeanneau yachts in an idyllic setting…
This year, the Jeanneau Yachts Owners’ Rendezvous took place over the course of three days, from May 15th through the 17th, 2019, in Corfu, Greece. It was under a magnificent sun and in a very pleasant atmosphere that the international crews sailed aboard their Jeanneau Yachts in Greek waters.
On Wednesday, May 15th, 14 Jeanneau Yachts were anchored in Gouvia Marina:
• 7 Jeanneau 64
• 3 Jeanneau 54
• 4 Jeanneau 51
Upon their arrival, the owners and their crews received a warm welcome with a cocktail reception at the Corfu Palace Hotel.
Thursday morning, the owners and skippers were gathered to attend the briefing for the rally, before setting sail.
For the 1st leg, the sailboats raced under a radiant sun to the island of Paxos. In the evening, everyone enjoyed a typical dinner with local dancing and culinary specialties at the restaurant, Genesis, in Gaios.
The departure for the 2nd leg took place on Friday morning. The 14 Jeanneau Yachts sailed from Gaios (on the island of Paxos) to Gouvia (Corfu) and crossed the finish line in front of the Marina near the old town, all under a magnificent sun and in exceptional locations.
At the end of the day on Friday, all Jeanneau Owners’ Rendezvous participants and crew attended a gala dinner organised at the Grecotel Corfu Imperial. It was an idyllic setting in which to conclude the rally and to enjoy the dinner and awards ceremony in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
As the crew departed, after these three days, they were filled with memories!
