PBS was delighted to host our final race of our Jeanneau Cup series at Middle Harbour Yacht Club, the Two-Up Cup on Anzac Day with a variety of models taking part from the 1986 built Sun Charm 36, to a 2018 Jeanneau 51 that we delivered early this season.
The format involving a pursuit style race is popular and with racing starting at 12.30 it is just an afternoon of activity, with racing usually taking one and a half to two hours. Despite an early shower we were blessed, yet again, with a fine day with 8 to 10 knots out of the South East and plenty of sunshine.
First home was the ever fast Sun Fast 37 “Macscap” skippered by Peter McClelland, followed by Mark and Carol-Anne McClement on their Jeanneau 51 “Beyond Cool” and David Day on the Sun Odyssey 349 “Arawai”
This brought the series to a close and we would like to congratulate the first three overall, along with all of the thirteen participants across the summer.
1st overall “Arawai” David Day Sun Odyssey 349
2nd overall “Macscap” Peter McClelland Sun Fast 37
3rd overall “Aurora II” Marcus Gillezeau Sun Odyssey 36i
