With this being the 60th anniversary of Jeanneau the company has just released a detailed e-brochure outlining the company’s history which is fascinating. 60 years in boat building is a remarkable legacy and the good news is that the company is in great shape, with strong order books and a host of new models coming online to take the company forward.
8 new models have been announced across the power and sail ranges, three of which have been short-listed for European ‘Boat of the Year’ honours, and two for the European Best of Boat’ awards.
In the sailing division the company has released three new models including the first of the eight generation of Sun Odyssey series. The 319 becomes the entry level in the series, while the ground-breaking 440 and 490 are the first of a completely new generation of production yachts available to the World.
On the power side the highly successful NC series has a new 33, while in the Cap Camarat’s there is the 9.0WA, 9.0CC and 7.5BR, and finally in the Merry Fisher outboard series there is the new 875 Marlin.
