PBS client Rob McClelland’s Sydney based Jeanneau 57 “Picasso” takes 1st place at the Bay of Islands Sailing Week, NZ earlier this month. Congratulations Rob! Rob took delivery of the first Jeanneau 57 to Australia and had it fitted with a Leisurefurl boom furling system to offer the power of a conventional main with a fully furlable system. 2nd place in the division was a Farr 55 “Cotton Blossom II” and 3rd a Dibley 17m “Marilin”. “Picasso” left Sydney in October, first cruising to New Caledonia, before heading to New Zealand and will return to Sydney in coming months. The Jeanneau 57 is the most successful production yacht of its size in the World with 155 now sold, 14 in the Asia/Pacific region. It continues to appeal to those looking for a quality yacht that looks great on the water, has an unmatched cockpit and a modern interior that is versatile to suit a wide range of uses, and as confirmed above they sail rather well!
