The problem for our friends at PBS is that they may have sold me the perfect boat. Our Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 “LuLuBelle” is a perfect blend of cruising boat for the family, racer offshore/inshore and entertainment platform for friends and family. Despite Ron and Lee trying annually to tempt us with a Jeanneau upgrade, LuLu Belle is still providing us with a great sailing solution. Possibly the most used boat in Sydney, LuLu Belle has logged an average 100 days per year on the water since her launch in 2006 and over 3000 hours on her motor. We have cruised the East coast of NSW travelling to some idealic locations including Port Stephens and lesser known ports such as Camden Haven. LuLu Belle has participated in many club regatta series including MHYC Twilights, Sail Port Stephens (every year since inception) , CYCA winter series , CYCA Short Haul Series , and Balmain regattas normally finishing somewhere on the podium ( Brag Brag Brag !!!). LuLu Belles mascot Wilson is infamous for his adventures, including his love affair with Ron Jacobs wife (Chris). LuLuBelle continues to match race against sister ships Passion and Caroline, they may beat us from time to time but we always look better!!!. LuLu Belle is famous for her maintenance regime as her OCD owner will never let a day go by without a polish here or a shine there , this was confirmed on Jean-Paul Chapeleau’s (President Jeanneau) latest visit when he declared that LuLu Belle the best maintained Jeanneau in the world! Of course this is expected from a boat such as LuLuBelle who is famous for becoming the surrogate mother for “Colin the Whale” in 2008, her movie debut in the movie “Scorched”, and a starring role in the pilot for “Rock my Boat”. LuLuBelle is also into charity work, participating in Charity regattas and a regular donator to charity auctions for Lifeline who sport their logo on LuLu Belles Mainsail. As the only “3 hat” boat in the world LuLu Belles a perfect entertainment destination often feeding as many as 20 on raft-ups. If every Jeanneau owner has half as much fun as we do, they will feel as lucky as we do. We feel safe and comfortable on the good ship LuLu Belle even in big seas and big breeze. We continue to seek new adventures and of course we are always seen at the Jeanneau Rendezvous to catch up and share stories with all our fellow owners and friends at PBS. Of course I am the best (highly unpaid !!!! ) salesman for PBS.
