Where & When? Yeoman’s Bay – 5th / 6th October 2013.
For those that have not experienced this special part of the Hawkesbury System Yeoman’s Bay is a special place, located just a 10 minute motor from Cottage Point, it is easy to pick up day guests or your daily provisions.
“Yeoman’s” has become a favourite destination for the Performance Boating team when we head “up the creek” as it has much to offer, being a very protected anchorage with a large sand flat area at the south of the bay which is great to discoverer in your dinghy or Paddle board at high tide. Low tide offers an area to get off the boat & socialise & with the low tide over the weekend between 2 & 3pm both days, bring your chipping iron for our “nearest the pin comp”. Games of Bocce ball
(a beverage in hand is compulsory) for those not into golf, or pumping for yabbies with the kids for that fresh catch of whiting when the tide comes in.
There are few moorings in the bay, so dropping anchor & rafting up is the norm’. There are no formalities, raft up with us if you like or anchor on your own this is a relaxed weekend away with your family/ friends with the chance to interact with others mad keen about boating & all it can bring.
