The first of the new Aventura 37 sailing catamarans had its worldwide debut in Cannes two weeks ago to very positive reviews. Performance Boating are delighted to confirm the sale of two for Sydney in recent weeks, with another sold and destined for Queensland.
Aventura have built a new facility specifically to build the new 37, and with deposits taken for 30 orders worldwide already this new design has clearly hit a chord for those looking for a manageable and more affordable modern production catamaran that is designed to sail well, while featuring a sport helm that makes it easy to single-hand the vessel, while keeping the boom low enough to make a conventional mainsail easy to manage.
The amount of useable deck space is simply superb, the protected cockpit ideal for Australian conditions, and the galley-up design makes entertaining easy. The standard layout has the starboard hull as the owners, with guest cabins in the port hull with a central head shower. However, three cabin twin head, four cabin three head and four cabin four head layouts are also available.
