The new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 410 has been impressing people with its sailing ability ever since its arrival and here we have the first Australian review by Boatsales at this link.
Their verdict summarizes this new design very well.

The innovative SO410 is the 3rd in the ‘walk-around’ new generation Sun Odyssey range that uniquely allow you to walk from the cockpit up to deck level without having to step over the cockpit coaming. But this feature is only the start of a long list of elements that make this design in particular a standout award winner in its class.
The walkaround allows the cockpit coamings to be higher offering better back support and protection in the cockpit, while the engine display is mounted high in the cockpit table to allow clear visibility from the starboard helm.
The boom is angled down towards the gooseneck, which means reaching the mainsail to fold it into the boom-bag is remarkable easy, while the short-overlap headsail makes tacking a doddle.
Down below a whole new approach to interior design is taken with a central galley to port that is generous and practical, while ingeniously a chez-lounge is central and allows seating to the deluxe saloon table option for entertaining below.
Another unique aspects is full rectangular beds that will use conventional bedding, whether the 2-cabin or 3-cabin, single or double head. Quite remarkable for a 40 footer.
Stowage space below is abundant and despite all of the above they’ve still managed to fit in a full size forward facing nav’ station. Always a popular feature.
But the best thing about this new design is how it sails. Coming from the same designer as the astonishing Sun Odyssey 349 this is probably no great surprise, but it has to be experienced to be appreciated. A simply beautifully balanced forgiving yacht that is an absolute please to sail in all conditions.
