Performance Boating Sales appointed NSW Excess Catamarans dealer

New partnership brings Excess Catamarans to NSW, with the Excess 13 on display at Sail Expo

Performance Boating Sales has been appointed the new Excess Catamarans representative for New South Wales, working alongside Australian importer 33 South Boat Sales.

The appointment brings the Excess range into the Performance Boating Sales portfolio and gives NSW sailors a dedicated local point of contact for the French catamaran brand.

As part of the new dealership announcement, Performance Boating Sales will have the Excess 13 on display at Sail Expo on 17 and 18 October at Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club on Pittwater.

Excess has developed its range around a simple idea: a cruising catamaran should be enjoyable to sail as well as comfortable to live aboard.

The brand describes its philosophy as “breaking the codes of sailing”, combining contemporary design with a focus on sailing performance, handling and the experience at the helm.

Its catamarans are designed for sailors who want to cruise, explore and spend time on the water, while retaining the space and comfort expected from a modern multihull.

The design language is deliberately distinctive, with clean lines, modern interiors and an emphasis on creating boats with character and a direct connection to sailing.

“The Excess philosophy fits well with the way we see the multihull market developing,” said Lee Condell, Director, Performance Boating Sales.

“Owners are looking for comfort, but they also want a boat that is engaging to sail. Excess has put a lot of thought into that balance, and we’re looking forward to introducing the range to sailors across NSW.”

Visitors to the Performance Boating Sales display at Sail Expo will be able to step aboard the Excess 13 and explore the latest model in the Excess range.

The Excess 13 brings together the brand’s focus on sailing performance, contemporary styling and comfortable cruising. Its design is intended to provide an engaging sailing experience while retaining the space and practicality expected of a cruising catamaran.

The Performance Boating Sales team will be available throughout the event to discuss the Excess 13, the wider Excess range and ownership options.

Performance Boating Sales is also marking the NSW appointment with special offers on three Excess yachts currently available in Europe.
