2007 Jeanneau 42 Deck Saloon

2007 Jeanneau 42 Deck Saloon

An excellent example of these highly popular cruising yachts, this one with a conventional mainsail, and both a custom self-tacking jib, and overlapping headsail. It features the astonishing owner’s layout with enormous owner’s cabin aft and guest cabin forward, both with ensuites, as well as the ability to have a single and double in the saloon.

A traditional large L-shaped galley, forward facing nav’ table and abundant storage has made these yachts popular for long voyages, and they have proved their sea-keeping ability time and time with several Australian owned examples have covered over 30,000 miles.

This yacht has been well equipped for East coast cruising and recently been updated with new canvas, the custom self-tacking jib, and a crane for a tender outboard. It’s had relatively light use with only 920 hours and has had regular maintenance to keep it in top shape.
