2004 DK 46

The DK46 is one of the enduring IRC cruiser-racers that continues to get results at the highest level and “Khalesi” is no exception with a long list of top results right up to recent weeks. It has been continually updated including a new High Modulus Carbon mast and new rod rigging in 2017, many recent sails and very much ready to race!

Designer Mark Mills has produced many of the most competitive IRC racing designs like the DK46 that have proven to be very competitive over a long period and the construction by DK is exceptional, especially considering how much offshore sailing these yachts have done.

The racing cockpit has been well thought out and the twin helms have adjustable foot-pads, and there is a hydraulic backstay. It has a Carbon boom, Carbon bow sprit for  for the Code 0, as well as Carbon spinnaker pole.

Down below the layout is very comfortable for deliveries or time away, while also being very well setup for offshore racing.

Electronics are comprehensive with full B&G H5000 system including 5 jumbo displays on the mast, 4G modem, Sat com, HF and VHF, Invertor and more.

The sail inventory is extensive and included a new J2, 2022 Main, 2022 #3, 2021 S1.5 and 2021 GSS.

This is a very well sorted package that will reward a crew looking to achieve good results regatta or offshore racing and well worth considering seriously.
