Jeanneau events for the 2015/2016 season:

Here at Performance Boating there is nothing we enjoy more than seeing our clients having a great time on their yachts, so every year we support and host events for those that enjoy meeting up and sailing against or with each other. This year will be our busiest yet and so please review the following and mark your calendars now so that you don’t miss out on a lot of fun.

Firstly, we will run our Jeanneau Cup events with Middle Harbour Yacht Club as this was a great success last year, so here are the dates for those three races:

–       Seven islands Race November 28th

–       Chaos & Bedlam Cup January 30th

–       Anzac Day Two-Up Cup April 25th

To participate in the Jeanneau Cup events you will need a valid cat’ 7 safety certificate and you can register for each event individually on the MHYC website at this link

Secondly, this seasons Rendezvous Rally will take the form of a passage race and sail in company to Newcastle on Saturday the 9th of April, where we will be hosted by the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club.

The Rendezvous will act as a feeder into the Sail Port Stephens ‘Commodore’s Cup’ event, which starts on Monday the 11th of April for three days. This event has been strongly supported by Jeanneau owners since we ran our Rendezvous as part of it 5 years ago. Within the various divisions of the ‘white’ sail Commodore’s Cup we will have prizes for the best placed Jeanneau Yachts and a function for owners and crew. We encourage you to come and join in, especially all the new Sun Odyssey 349’s, as this event is a huge amount of fun at a great venue, and should definitely be on your to-do list if you haven’t done it before.

Note: If you would enjoy taking part in any of these events, but for whatever reason can’t use your own boat, then let us know as we always have owners looking for crew.

So a busy year ahead and one the team here at PBS are looking forward to!
