Already an award winner at the Boat Builder Awards in November of 2015, AST (Assisted Sail Trim) has just been nominated for the i-NOVO Tech Awards announced at the International Düsseldorf Boat Show, which will take place from the 23rd to the 31st of January 2016.
This category of i-NOVO Tech Awards most notably recognizes the most exceptional products that develop a new technology to improve upon existing procedures through innovation.
Winners will be selected by public vote using the QR code of the i-NOVO label.
The list of winners will be announced on February 4th, 2016.
The AST (Assisted Sail Trim) system is the fruit of a superb collaboration between Jeanneau and Harken that reinvents short-handed cruising and sailing with the development of assisted sail handling.
This innovative system is designed to contribute to a relaxing day out on the water by offering assisted sail handling via sensor-guided, push-button control.
