With this in mind Performance Boating currently have a fantastic selection of these easy to manage race yachts that could also double up for that weekend away every now & then. Each of these yachts have different features offering their next owners something special.

A brief summary of the yachts currently available:

Masrm 31- lift keel: “Out of Sight” would best appeal to those that have limited draft issues, yet still wish to have the ability to also compete in offshore races

In her current configuration the 1000 kg keel lifts to 4 feet draft, yet with the keel down has 7` 2” draft, she has competed in long offshore races to Gladstone, so her pedigree is unquestionable. Priced for quick sale at $39,000. Inspect at Bayview.

Clubman Super 30: “Echoes” is an extremely competitive 31 foot that has been built from the best materials. A substantial bulb-keel & carbon mast/ boom provide a very stiff light displacement sports boat (2,300 Kgs) with plenty of get up & go!

She features a long carbon bowsprit fitted to easily fly asymmetric spinnakers, making for a less crew demanding solution for those that want to weekend race with spinnakers. Price has just been reduced to $49,000. Call to arrange a viewing.

Jutson 31: “Outlandish” has the added stability (read less crew demanding) & provides comfort of a medium displacement racer/cruiser at 3,870kgs. A larger swept-spreader rig was installed in 2008 making her super competitive against the current crop of 35 footers in breezes under 15 knots. With a constantly upgraded sail inventory including new main in December 2014 she is offered at a very realistic price of $54,000. Inspection recommended.

Farr 31: “So Farr” has been beautifully built by Franklin Boats in NZ and is a turn-key IRC race package for those that may want to race competitively under a rating system rather than club performance handicap. She features the best of electronics & regatta grade complete North sails inventory. New carbon rig in 2005, this boat has always been at the pointy end of the fleet & will continue to do so for her new owner. Just reduced to $55,000. View at Bayview.

Mumm 36: “Heatwave” is one of Bruce Farr`s best designs ever. To helm or crew a Mumm 36 is one of life`s pleasures, as they accelerate in the lightest of air & plane easily downwind when the wind picks up. New rig & Dyform rigging in 2008, new Ockam Jumbo mast displays & extensive sail package. Must sell, so only $72,500. View at Bayview.
